Cyanoacrylate adhesives are popular among consumers, professional craft workers and industrial assemblers alike. Yet until now, their ability to be used in an industrial setting has been limited because the bonds they form break down in humid, aquatic, or high-temperature environments, making them unsuitable for use in the manufacturing of many electronic and consumer goods. There is now a solution to cyanoacrylates' inherent drawback: a new adhesive called Born2Bond™ Aquafast. Formulated with selected water-resistant raw materials, this ethyl cyanoacrylate (ECA) based product can prevent humidity and water, even hot water, from penetrating the adhesive bond.
