What are anaerobic adhesives?

Anaerobic adhesives, also known as machinery adhesives, are single-component acrylic polymers that are used in a wide range of applications such as threadlocker, pipe sealing, and gasketing. The term "anaerobic" implies the absence of oxygen and these adhesives cure when excluded from oxygen and with metal contact. Thanks to their unique properties, they are ideal for fastening and sealing processes in the automotive, general assembly, MRO, and electronic industries.

For a lengthy period, users have had to deal with the significant drawbacks of conventional retaining and sealing solutions. Our high-performance range of anaerobic adhesives are solvent free, ready to use, and cure at room temperature. They offer high performance, reduced inventory, and long-term reliability.

The Born2Bond^™ anaerobic adhesives have been formulated with sustainability and safety in the workplace in mind. They are Free of hazard labeling, solvent free, and not CLP classified, which helps to reduce environmental impact and increased user safety and comfort.
